Our transformers are constructed using Mu-metal (76% Nickel) cores for minimal distortion and high bandwidth, resulting in excellent audio performance. Our IO transformers are ideal for converting unbalanced signals to 600-ohm balanced lines, which are used universally in recording and  broadcasting installations for analogue signals, virtually eliminates ground noise and unwanted interference. Our attenuator transformers used in conjunction with a multi position switch provide a high performance stereo volume control function. Sowter’s proprietary winding technique ensures 100 kHz bandwidth at all switch positions.
