Founded in 1941, Sowter Audio Transformers have over 80 years’ of industry experience in the electronics field, specialising in the design and manufacture of audio-grade Transformers, Chokes and Inductors, compatible with many classic audio systems.

Sowter are part of Carnhill Transformers Limited, with their UK-based design and production facilities Carnhill’s aim is to supply you with the best value and highest quality transformers, chokes and inductors. 

Our in-house design department, together with on-site manufacturing facilities, allow Sowter to rapidly turn customer’s enquiries into samples and pre-production quantities. We provide UK-manufactured products to our customers, and offer full production services for small to medium volume components.
